Jimi
Jimi came into care in late 2022 after being found as a stray and handed in to the vet. He had a range of skin issues which needed intense treatment. Our facebook followers fell in love with Jimi and helped raise much needed funds for his care and treatment. After 143 days in care, Jimi was adopted by his furever family. His family provided this update:
We are absolutely in love with him – he has quickly slotted in as the family member we didn’t realise we were missing! He loves walks along Palm Cove esplanade, swims at the beach, and looooots of kisses and cuddles. We are working on his training which he is picking up quickly, although his recall at the beach can be… less than ideal ha. He even had his first day at puppy daycare last week and he loved the play time. We will be forever grateful for the love and care he received from his foster carer – he truly is the sweetest boy.’
Bella
Bella came into care in late 2022 after being surrendered to a vet. She had a broken leg needing an operation followed by weeks of crate rest – a challenging prospect for a young kelpie. We are delighted to report that her leg healed well and she is now living her best life on a property with her fur-brother Charlie. Good girl Bella!
